Laboratory Technician III Location: Clark, NJ Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday 8:00 AM u2013 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $ 28.68/hour Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time) Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is partnering with a global leader in the beauty and cosmetics industry to hire a Microbiology Laboratory Technician in Clark, NJ. This role supports the Research & Innovation team and plays a critical part in ensuring the microbiological integrity and safety of cosmetic products during the development process. Job Summary The Microbiology Laboratory Technician will perform a variety of microbiological tests on cosmetic ingredients and formulations while ensuring compliance with company policies, GLP standards, and laboratory procedures. Key Responsibilities + Perform microbial content testing on raw materials, bulk products, filled units, sales/test market samples, consumer returns, and special samples + Accurately evaluate, interpret, and record test results in a timely manner + Identify microorganisms and determine microbial content in products and components + Conduct microbiological sampling of DI water and perform environmental monitoring + Monitor, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment + Prepare culture media used in the evaluation of cosmetic and OTC products + Manage laboratory supply inventory and verify receipt of materials + Autoclave and properly dispose of laboratory-generated waste per SOPs + Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards + Collaborate cross-functionally within R&I and other departments Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related scientific field + 1u20135 years of experience working in a laboratory environment + Strong laboratory skills, including aseptic technique + Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) + Working knowledge of GLP guidelines + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities + Strong verbal and written communication skills Why Work with Adecco? + Weekly pay + Access to medical, dental, and vision benefits + 401(k) options + Dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment + Opportunity to gain experience with a globally recognized organization If you meet the qualifications and are ready to take the next step in your microbiology career, we encourage you to apply today.
