Quality Technician Needed in La Vergne $20-25/hr Job Description We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician who is adept at using various gages and measurement devices, such as micrometers, calipers, and hand tools. The role involves conducting meticulous quality inspections through microscopes, focusing on precise measurements down to inches and millimeters. Basic math skills are essential. Responsibilities + Use gages and measurement devices like micrometers and calipers for inspections. + Conduct quality inspections through microscopes, ensuring precise measurements. + Transport parts from the production floor to the lab for further analysis. + Perform metallurgical, dimensional, and visual inspections on products. + Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic data entry tasks. + Leverage SAP knowledge for enhanced data management. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Experience in quality control and inspection processes. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3-6+ years of experience in quality assurance or related fields. + Automotive industry experience is advantageous. + Familiarity with SAP is a plus. Work Environment Work within a well-equipped lab setting, utilizing advanced measurement tools and software like Microsoft Excel and SAP.
