Some of your responsibilities will include giving injections,pulling the right medication, and preparing the sterile this role, you will improvethe patientexperience as well as provide support to patients from start to finish.This is an excellent opportunity for someone whoseeksto enhance their nursing skills through learning opportunities and professional development.APRNcaregiver in this positionworksa minimum of 2 shifts per weekfrom8:00AM - 5:00PMor 7:30AM - 4:30PM.Travelling to Coral Springs will berequired.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide professional nursing care to patients.Administer medication.Maintain complete andaccuratedocumentation in medical records and plete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.Implement pain management assessments and documentation.Recognize changes in patients' status and report pertinent information to Charge Nurse or Physicians.Educatepatients,familiesand others.Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.Follow Code Blue protocol.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate of an accredited LPN programFlorida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossKnowledge of infection control practicesExperience with technologyComputer literacyPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:One year of clinical experiencePhlebotomy backgroundOrthopaedicbackgroundPhysical Requirements:Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing walking and occasional lifting.Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeSalaries [which may be] shown on independent job search websites reflect various market averages and do not represent information obtained directly from The Cleveland Clinic.
