You Are We are seeking a visionary Health Industry Leader to spearhead the transformation of healthcare and life sciences organizations through the strategic application of Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic technologies. The ideal candidate will combine deep industry expertise with a passion for technology's potential to solve some of the most pressing challenges in health. The Work This executive role is dedicated to empowering providers, payers, pharmaceutical companies, and research institutions to improve patient outcomes, accelerate scientific discovery, and create more efficient, accessible health systems. Key Responsibilities + Strategic Industry Leadership: You will be responsible for defining and executing the comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud across the entire health ecosystem. This involves acting as the senior voice of the industry within Google, translating the complex needs of providers, payers, and life sciences organizations into actionable strategies for our product, engineering, and research teams. You will guide our long-term vision for health, ensuring Google Cloud is positioned as the definitive platform for innovation and transformation in the sector. + Health and Life Sciences Transformation: As a trusted advisor to C-level executives at leading health systems, insurance companies, and biopharma organizations, you will guide them through their digital transformation journey. You will lead the development of groundbreaking solutions that leverage Google Cloud to address critical industry challenges, such as enabling clinical decision support, personalizing patient engagement, accelerating drug discovery and clinical trials, and optimizing population health management. + Data, AI, and Agentic Innovation: You will drive the application of Google's most advanced technologies to the health industry's unique challenges. This includes championing the use of our data platform to unify disparate data sources (EHR, imaging, genomics, claims) in a secure and compliant manner. You will spearhead the use of AI and machine learning to derive novel insights from this data, powering everything from medical imaging analysis and genomic research to operational predictions. Furthermore, you will lead the charge in deploying intelligent agents to reduce administrative burden, guide clinicians, and create more intuitive experiences for patients. + Compliance, Security, and Trust: The foundation of all work in the health industry is trust. You will be the ultimate champion for security and compliance, ensuring our solutions and customer implementations adhere to the highest standards, including HIPAA, GxP, and other global regulations. You will lead our efforts in promoting the ethical and equitable use of AI in healthcare, working with customers and policymakers to build frameworks that ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability. + Ecosystem and Thought Leadership: You will be responsible for building and nurturing a vibrant ecosystem of partners, including EMR/EHR vendors, medical device manufacturers, research institutions, and leading system integrators. By fostering deep technical and business alignment, you will ensure our customers have access to end-to-end solutions. As the public face of Google Cloud for Health, you will serve as a prominent thought leader, speaking at major industry events, engaging with policy-makers, and articulating Google's vision for the future of health. Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements. Here's what you need + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, Public Health, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Business Administration or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associateu2019s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) + Minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the healthcare or life sciences industry (e.g., at a provider, payer, pharma/biotech company) or as a technology leader serving these industries. + Minimum of 7 years of experience and proven track record of leading large-scale technology-driven transformation projects. Professional Skills Requirement: + Deep understanding of health data, industry-specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and the clinical, research, or operational workflows of health organizations. Bonus points if you have + Advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD, MPH, MBA). + Direct, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data, analytics, and AI/ML services. + Demonstrated success in deploying AI/ML solutions in a regulated healthcare or life sciences environment (e.g., for medical imaging, genomics, real-world evidence, or clinical trial optimization). + Established network of executive-level relationships across the health and life sciences ecosystem. + Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with experience as a public speaker and industry evangelist. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
