All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: + Benefits from Day One + Paid Days Off from Day One + Student Loan Repayment Program + Sign-on Bonus + Relocation Bonus Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 601 E ROLLINS ST City: ORLANDO State: Florida Postal Code: 32803 Job Description: SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Responsible for designing and leading a comprehensive quality management program encompassing both the Central Florida South Division (CFD-S) and for the statewide specialty service-lines defined as our AH Institutes. u2022 Responsible for developing the vision and strategic quality management program to deliver safe, exceptional, and high value patient care through collaboration with chief executives and physician leaders for all acute and facilities in CFD-S. u2022 Collaborates with Regional CFD-S CEO and Chief Physician Executive for AH Medical Group to align specialty physician performance with CFD-S and Institute strategic priorities to achieve organizational clinical accountabilities. u2022 Provides executive leadership and oversight of clinical quality and value efforts, in collaboration with Regional Chief Clinical Officer and Regional Chief Nursing Officer, to drive the organizationu2019s performance to achieve corporate clinical accountabilities for CFD-S. u2022 Collaborates with the Chief Strategy Officer on the strategic development and implementation of multi-year quality, outcomes, and value plans for the Institutes including Transplant Institute, Heart, Lung, & Vascular Institute, Cancer Institute, Neuroscience Institute, Orthopedic Institute, and Digestive Health Institute across the State of Florida. u2022 Serves as the accountable executive leader for CFD-S on clinical value transformation initiatives, responsible for multimillion-dollar portfolio (50+ million) to achieve savings that position AH for strong financial position by optimizing processes in clinical care. u2022 Responsible for developing strategic plans that meet corporate clinical goals and long-term vision of clinical excellence for CFD-S in collaboration with the Regional Chief Clinical Officer and Regional CNO. u2022 Serves as functional leader for all areas of quality in CFD-S Region including but not limited to Clinical Value Transformation, Performance Improvement, Clinical Data Analytics, Regulatory (ACHA, CMS, DNV), Quality Systems, Infection Prevention, Campus Quality & Outcomes leaders. Through this functional leadership will align the work of all quality areas across the organization to achieve results that meet our corporate aspiration of clinical excellence. u2022 Partners with and advises physician leaders such as campus CMOu2019s, Institute Executive Medical Directors, elected medical staff officers, and program directors on quality programs to achieve organizational goals and achieve national top performance thresholds. u2022 Provides executive subject matter expertise for Institutes across the enterprise of AdventHealth (corporate) to provide council on improving quality and overall value of care. Partners with AH facilities across the country to improve quality, outcomes, and value. u2022 Responsible for holding direct and matrix leaders accountable for execution to achieve clinical excellence and organizational accountabilities. COMPLIANCE/REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Executive oversight of submission, monitoring, and strategic planning for national publicly reported ratings to ensure accurate representation of AdventHealth performance and meet corporate accountabilities (i.e., CMS 5-Star, Leapfrog, U.S. News, national clinical registries, etc.) u2022 Provides functional leadership oversight to all aspects of quality across CFD-S for responsible for ensuring organizational compliance on regulatory related quality mandates for CMS, AHCA, and other regulatory bodies. u2022 Serves as executive responsible for the quality integration and results driven by the Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) system committee. This includes oversight of all clinical quality areas within the hospital, as required by CMS and DNV. Integration and outcomes from the work of this committee are required to receive Medicare reimbursement for the organization. u2022 Responsible for developing Institute accreditation vision, strategic plan, and operational implementation for mandatory certifications in collaboration with chief executives to meet organization priorities to promote national brand reputation. u2022 Responsible for executive oversight of state (AHCA) and federal (CMS) requirements for Institutes to ensure compliance across CFD. This includes mandatory clinical registries, certifications, and/or accreditations that impact the organizations financial reimbursement. OPERATING & CAPITAL BUDGET/FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Serves as the accountable executive leader for CFD-S on clinical value transformation initiatives, responsible for multimillion-dollar portfolio (50+ million) to achieve savings that position AH for strong financial position by optimizing processes in clinical care. u2022 Develops innovative ways to reduce the overhead expense of the quality monitoring systems by leveraging EMR, technology, and national best practices. u2022 Functional budget responsibility for Institute Value and other operating cost centers across CFD as assigned. u2022 Develops and maintains annual budgets for the organization within scope of responsibility and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses. STRATEGIC PLANNING RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Develops and executes strategic plans for Quality in collaboration with chief executives across CFD-S to deliver safe, exceptional, and high value patient care that meets organizational vision and AH Corporate Clinical Accountabilities for CFD-S. u2022 Collaborates with the Chief Strategy Officer on the strategic development and implementation of multi-year quality, outcomes, and value plans for the Institutes including Transplant Institute, Heart, Lung, & Vascular Institute, Cancer Institute, Neuroscience Institute, Orthopedic Institute, and Digestive Health Institute across the State of Florida. Partners with C-Suite leaders across CFD on implementation, performance improvement, and monitoring of results. u2022 Responsible for providing subject matter expertise into strategic plans to standardize clinical care to achieve high value care for specialty Institutes across CFD and the state of Florida. u2022 Leads the planning of the quality portfolio in collaboration with chief executives for facilities across CFD-S to define and execute initiatives aligned to achieve organizational vision and corporate accountabilities. u2022 Operates as the executive thought leader staying abreast of industry trends, emerging best practices, evolving regulatory requirements, and ensuring that AdventHealth remains at the forefront of innovation and clinical excellence in healthcare delivery. u2022 Research and forecast upcoming regulatory and public-reporting trends such as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Servicesu2019 (CMS) Value-Based Purchasing, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) patient safety indicators, national clinical registry reporting and other payer programs to incorporate in strategic plans. PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Serves as Executive Sponsor for clinical value transformation initiatives across CFD-S to improve quality, standardize clinical pathways, and achieve organizational savings target. u2022 Provides executive oversight in development of quality and value measurement tools to assess and benchmark AH performance to achieve top recognition in nationally public reported measures and rankings. u2022 Responsible for partnering with campus executives to drive quality performance and action plan effectiveness to meet organizational goals. u2022 Provides executive oversight in development of tools and platforms to continually assess quality and outcomes to achieve organizational goals and corporate accountabilities. u2022 Develops and promotes a culture of continuous performance and quality improvement COMMUNITY RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Collaborates with marketing executives to provide expert input into strategic marking plans for national rankings, highlighting of clinical outcomes, and public reporting of outcomes through development of outcomes reports, media, and other marketing outlets. u2022 Engages in public speaking events on behalf of AdventHealth u2022 Responsible for leading annual planning process for community and healthcare partner education and screening for specialty services. (i.e. Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) STAFFING/LABOR/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: u2022 Plan and develop a complete succession plan for rollup up to and including own position.
