What You Can Expect This zone-based role serves as a dedicated resource and advocate for early-career surgeons, including Fellows, Residents, and Surgeons within their first 1u20135 years of practice. The position is responsible for building and sustaining meaningful professional relationships, supporting ongoing educational development, and connecting emerging surgical talent with the resources, expertise, and opportunities necessary to advance both clinical practice and professional growth. Leveraging Zimmer Biometu2019s comprehensive portfolio of products and services, they will play a critical part in developing long-term partnerships and driving engagement within the early-career surgeon community. How You'll Create Impact + Identifies and builds authentic relationships with early career surgeons, Fellows, and Residents within the assigned territory + Serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for young surgeons seeking support, education, or collaboration opportunities + Develops and maintains a robust network of young surgeon contacts, tracking career progression and evolving needs + Organizes and participates in surgeon-focused events, forums, and networking opportunities that foster peer connection, learning, and the safe and effective clinical application of Zimmer Biomet products and services + Assesses individual educational needs and learning preferences of young surgeons related to product and technology usage + Aligns appropriate educational resources, training programs, and hands-on learning opportunities with surgeon development stages + Coordinates access to proctorships, case observations, and mentorship opportunities + Stays current on the latest surgical techniques, clinical evidence, and best practices relevant to technology portfolio + Develops partnerships with educational leadership at key fellowship institutions and/or educational institutions; garner true buy-in from organizational leadership to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes + Ensures that surgeons early in their career are aware of the opportunities and resources that Zimmer Biomet offers + Partners closely with Medical Education teams to communicate field insights and shape relevant educational content + Collaborates with Commercial teams to align young surgeon engagement strategies with broader business objectives + Facilitates and nurtures connections between graduating residents/fellows and the ZB territory leaders responsible for their future practice location + Connects surgeons with internal stakeholders including Clinical Specialists, Research & Development teams, Medical Affairs and Marketing + Serves as a liaison between young surgeons and company leadership to advocate for their needs and perspectives What Makes You Stand Out + Proven track record working directly with healthcare professionals, physicians or in a clinical/OR setting + Strong understanding of surgical procedures, OR dynamics, and clinical workflows + Knowledge of medical device regulations, compliance requirements, and quality systems + Familiarity with academic medical centers, residency programs, and fellowship training structures + Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and credibility quickly + Ability to navigate sensitive conversations and provide constructive guidance + Talent for translating complex technical concepts into accessible learning experiences + Understanding of adult learning principles and how to tailor education to different learning styles + Ability to assess knowledge gaps and recommend appropriate developmental pathways + Ability to identify patterns, opportunities, and insights from field interactions + Strategic mindset to align surgeon development with long-term business objectives + Data-driven approach to measuring impact and refining engagement strategies + Capability to balance multiple priorities and manage territory resources effectively + Proficiency with CRM systems and data management tools Education and Experience + Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience required + Clinical training, surgeon development experience or related position working with fellows and residents preferred Travel Expectations + Up to 30% travel primarily within assigned territory EOE/M/F/Vet/Disability Expected Compensation Range: $140k to $160k, plus bonus
