We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking a Sports Interior Designer to join our global Sports & Venues team. This role supports the intersection of client development, visioning, planning, project and development advisory, and advanced design and visualization workflows across multiple regions and markets. This position will be located in our Kansas City, MO or Dallas, TX offices. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for initiating and developing design and construction document drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the projectu2019s discipline leaders. Under some supervision, may complete design assignments of moderate complexity. Limited familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the discipline. Introduced to the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures. Intermediate understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents. Qualifications Minimum Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field + Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong portfolio of sports, hospitality, or entertainment projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Preferred Qualifications + Proficiency in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). + NCIDQ, LEED, WELL, or equivalent (preferred). + Experience with large-scale sports, entertainment, or public assembly venues. + Support of mentoring and developing design talent. + Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications. + Strong relationships with sports industry stakeholders, including team ownership, athletic directors, and public sector clients. + Experience with computational design tools (Grasshopper, Dynamo), advanced visualization, and AI-assisted design. + Experience on international or multi-region projects and with distributed teams. Additional Information + This position will not offer sponsorship now or in the future. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $70000 to $100000.
