We are currently seeking an engaged and passionate professional to serve as Lease-up Compliance Specialistu00a0to a newly developed property.u00a0 Under the direction of the Lease-up Manager, the Lease-up Compliance Specialistu00a0is responsible for managing all resident file compliance activities during active lease-up for PBRA-assisted andu00a0LIHTC & HOMEu00a0regulated properties. This role ensures that applications,u00a0certificationsu00a0and resident files are processed accurately,u00a0submittedu00a0timelyu00a0and fully audit-readyu00a0in accordance withu00a0HUD, PHFA, investor, and internal Trek compliance standards.u00a0u00a0The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven,u00a0and experienced withu00a0LIHTCu00a0lease-ups and third-party audits.u00a0u00a0As Trek continues to expand, we are seeking au00a0Lease-up Complianceu00a0Specialist to support lease-up operations across a growing portfolio.u00a0 Essential Functions: + Conductu00a0LIHTC/PBRA eligibility interviewsu00a0in accordance withu00a0HUDu00a0& PHFAu00a0requirementsu00a0 + Process applications throughu00a0a third-party compliance departmentu00a0from intake to approvalu00a0 + Prepare andu00a0submitu00a0initial and final RPC submissions and address deficiencies as neededu00a0 + Provide organized compliance files and documentation to investorsu00a0 + Organize andu00a0maintainu00a0resident files using Trek checklists and internal standardsu00a0 + Ensure all files are complete,u00a0accurateu00a0and audit-readyu00a0alwaysu00a0 + Prepare resident files for full PHFA file audits, including internal pre-audit reviewsu00a0 + Support audit responses and resolve compliance findingsu00a0 + Collaborate with leasing and property management teams during active lease-upu00a0 Education & Experience:u00a0 + Minimum 2u20133 years of affordable housing compliance experience, preferably in active lease-upu00a0 + Strong working knowledge ofu00a0LIHTC, HOME,u00a0PBRA and HUD eligibility requirementsu00a0 + Experience withu00a0complianceu00a0submissions and approvalsu00a0 + Familiarity with PHFA audits and investor compliance requirementsu00a0 + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailu00a0 + Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentu00a0 u00a0 + Lease-up experience for newly constructed or rehabilitated propertiesu00a0preferred + Experience working with investor reporting and file reviewsu00a0preferred + Strong written and verbal communication skillsu00a0 + Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionu00a0 Physical Demands & Work Environment: + The employee is regularly required to move around the building or site. + May require travel dependent on business needs. + Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across site. + The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. u00a0Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
