Job Description Account Technical Executive (ATX) team at Cadence is responsible for developing and driving strategy for adoption and growth of Cadence solutions at targeted accounts. The role requires working in a large team environment including: managing and leading ATX team, leadership for directing and coordinating sales and field AE resources, coordination/facilitation of customer interaction between Cadence Marketing/Engineering. Successful candidate will be able to consult with customer executive decision makers as a solutions architect, working collaboratively to identify industry trends and to bring innovative solution design flows to ensure they are successful with the Cadence product portfolio. Responsibilities include: + Leading and inspiring team of high performance ATXu2019s. + Closely coordinating ATX activity with account executives in the territory to maintain a robust sales pipeline and meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets. + Consulting with customers on design/system requirements and helping architect those requirements into a competitive solution. Providing technical guidance to the customer on the technical and business benefits of Cadence offering including EDA SW, IP, HW and Design Services. + The ability to foster and grow customer relationships throughout all levels of the customer organization to better connect our solutions with the customer's problems/business challenges and insure roadmap alignment for long term success. Position Requirements: + BSEE/MSEE with 10+ years of experience in related field with proven track record of success. + 5+ years of experience managing technical and/or engineering team. + Expertise in the area of design flows and application related to the types of products in the Cadence product portfolio, including IC and system design. + Demonstrable soft skills that include exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to negotiate, influence, resolve conflict and consult at senior and executive customer levels in all situations; able to partner with, explain to and advise customers on business issues, highly technical and complex solutions, and integration challenges. + Strong cross organizational skills to advocate on the customeru2019s behalf to internal Cadence technical and business stakeholders to support the customer situation and requirements. + Working knowledge of Software and IP sales and business processes is a plus. + Previous experience as System Architect and/or Design Manager is a plus.
