Description Provides first and second level technical support to a variety of customers comprising the submitter community, as well as basic internal support via analysis and research into EDI-related issues as required by business contracts. u202260% Provides quality/timely internal/external customer technical support/service for variety of insurance contracts as assigned. This encompasses, but is not limited to, support of communication interfaces/transactions/functions as required by insurance laws (such as support of claims, remit advices, inquiry/response for claims status/eligibility, enrollment, premium payment etc.), support of all current formats/transactions required by law/ lines of business. u202240% Responsible for the setup of all electronic transactions submission by processing enrollment applications, updating associated system files, and managing customer notification. Day to Day: o CSR assist Drug Manufacturer and Plan Sponsor with their invoice payment. They will help in banking form updates, onboarding new user to the portal, answer inquiries in a timely manner via phone or email. Able to assist other as needed. Able to make courtesy calls to drug manufacturer and plan sponsor about invoice deadline, information need, and other. Schedule: 8-5 M-F One to two late nights (10am-7pm) a month and potential Overtime. The late-night schedule will be used to service Pacific Time and workers will be notified 2-3 months in advance of their late night. Work Details u2022 Onsite position u2022 Interviews conducted virtually u2022 Contract-to-hire, dependent on performance and attendance Call Volume Expectations u2022 Calls vary depending on program phase: u25cb Some days: fewer than 10 calls u25cb Other days: 30+ calls u25cb Average: approximately 15 calls per day Schedule u2022 Requires working 5u20137 PM on rotation (Marchu2013May already scheduled). u2022 Plenty of notice is provided for late shifts. u2022 On late-shift days, start time adjusts to 10 AM. u2022 Hours are shifted accordingly to accommodate late coverage. Additional Skills & Qualifications Education: Required Education: Associate Degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or other job related field. or 2 years of technical operations support experience or other applicable experience. Required Work Experience: 2 years of applicable EDI experience. Preferred Work Experience: 3 years-of applicable EDI experience. Required Technologies: EDI Office Nice To Have: o Good communication skills - Strong Written and Verbal skills Banking experience Able to handle stressful situation. o Able to identify callers need o Good phone etiquette Soft Skills: o Able to adapt to stressful situation. Good communication skills both calls and emails. Good grammar skills Team player Multi tasks NOT Looking For: o Programming knowledge o Leading or managing team o Workstation related experience with network or computer hardware/software o Project management skills Role Requirements & Preferred Experience Customer Support / Call Center Experience u2022 Previous call center experience is highly preferred. u2022 Customer service (even faceu2011tou2011face) is also acceptable. u2022 Must be comfortable speaking with customers professionally. u2022 Experience handling email correspondence with customers. Financial & Banking Correspondence u2022 Exposure to banking or financial information. u2022 Does not need to be an accountant, but should understand basic financial terminology (e.g., payer, payee, invoice, debit, credit). u2022 Ability to read and interpret invoices. Communication Skills u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. u2022 Must be able to take information from calls and translate it clearly into written documentation. EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Experience u2022 Handling incoming and outgoing data files. u2022 Familiarity with sending/receiving data and processing invoices. Technical Skills u2022 Solid Excel skills u2014 beyond basic level. u2022 Comfortable working with data.
