As a Finance Manager, you'll be a critical strategic partner driving financial insights that shape the future of smart home technology.Key job responsibilities- Lead comprehensive quarterly and annual financial forecasting processes for operating expenses, collaborating closely with diverse business partners- Own eero marketing operating expenses and partner with eero marketing leaders- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to uncover financial trends, risks, and opportunities- Develop nuanced financial insights that support strategic business decisions- Support monthly financial close processes with detailed reporting and actionable recommendations- Actively participate in finance initiatives, including process improvements and strategic analysesA day in the lifeYour day will be a blend of strategic financial analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and innovative thinking. By joining us, you'll be part of a forward-thinking group that's redefining how technology serves and supports modern homes.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience- 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience- 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience- MBA, or CPA- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies.
