Department: Physical Therapy - Occupational Health ClinicSchedule: 4 - 10 Hour Shifts Monday - Thursday;7:30A-6:30PWork Location: UAB St. Vincents Honda plantBenefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and moreConduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.Document treatment interventions given.May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.Licensure / Certification / Registration:Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or having a temporary license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross acceptedEducation:Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy Program required.
