Senior Systems Engineer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer (PNT) to join our team in Crane, IN. This is a 100% on-site position.This role will be providing mission critical PNT engineering expertise to NAVSEA/SOCOM engineering efforts.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems.Assist in equipment operation and data collection during the support of field eventsAnalysis of system modifications effectiveness in comparison to performance metricsDevelop test plans into test casesTravel up to 25% within the continental United StatesMinimum Qualifications:MS/MA degree in Engineering or Engineering Discipline10+ years of experience performing work in the Systems Engineering fieldFamiliarity with Precision, Navigation, Timing (PNT) aspects, to include M-Code, IMU, INS, clocks5+ years of experience managing critical engineering tasking in support of technical reviews (CDR/PDR, TRR, RRE, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting Alternate PNT systems3+ years of experience briefing Senior Military and Civil Service personnelExperience supporting NAVSEA/SOCOM engineering effortsClearance Requirements:U.S. Citizen and possess an active current Top-Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI eligibilityPhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the laboratory environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
