Materials Engineering Technician III

Job Description A client in the Columbus, OH area is seeking to add 5 Engineering Technicians to their growing team. This role supports active construction projects through field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials to ensure work is performed in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards. The Engineering Technician III serves as a key field resource, working closely with Project Managers, clients, and contractors to verify quality, document results, and maintain safety and compliance on construction sites. Key Responsibilities Test and inspect construction materials in the field or lab to confirm work meets requirements Monitor contractor activities and report site conditions and test results to project teams Collect, label, and transport material samples to the lab for further testing Prepare and submit daily reports and documentation to the Project Manager Maintain equipment and work areas, assist with technician scheduling, and follow all safety requirements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
