Job Description Eatonu2019s IT organization seeks an experienced System Architect u2013 Design System to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale design system. This role translates business requirements into robust technical solutions aligned with Eatonu2019s architecture standards. The architect drives end-to-end developmentu2014from high-level design to implementation oversightu2014ensuring scalability, security, and quality. As a senior technical leader, this position also mentorsu2019 teams and contributes to technology strategy through governance and innovation initiatives. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities u2022u2003Solution Architecture & Quality: Design and validate software solutions, create architecture artifacts, and oversee testing to ensure performance and compliance. u2022u2003Technical Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams, provide mentorship, and resolve complex technical issues. u2022u2003Requirements Translation: Convert business needs into technical specifications and system diagrams. u2022u2003Governance & Standards: Ensure designs meet enterprise architecture standards; lead reviews and approvals. u2022u2003Future-State Planning: Address scalability, security, and compliance; plan for evolving business needs. u2022u2003Technical Debt Management: Identify and drive improvements to maintain architecture maturity. u2022u2003Implementation Oversight: Monitor development, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot integration challenges. u2022u2003Strategic Contribution: Influence technology roadmaps and participate in architecture governance forums.
