Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Shallotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will manage essential accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records are maintained. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to day-to-day operations while supporting payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records. u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy. u2022 Manage payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payments. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Online to organize and track financial information. u2022 Support warranty claim processing and purchasing activities. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations. u2022 Step into the role quickly with minimal training and adapt to existing systems. u2022 Assist with integrating financial data into organizational processes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and general accounting software. u2022 Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Experience performing bank reconciliations accurately. u2022 Familiarity with payroll operations and procedures. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills. u2022 Adaptability to learn and integrate into established workflows.
