Skilled Production Associate - Intermediate

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in innovative packaging solutions, is seeking a Skilled Production Associate - Intermediate to join their team. As a Skilled Production Associate - Intermediate, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Skilled Production Associate - Intermediate Location: Alsip, IL Pay Range: $26.95 Shift: Second What's the Job? + Receive bottles from the blow molder and perform visual inspections for quality and contamination. + Remove remaining flashes, check the bottles' weight, and install metal heads, leak test, and plugs. + Verify the quality of all work in process and finished goods, assisting in changeovers as needed. + Perform grinding of flash and rejected parts to ensure quality standards. + Maintain cleanliness and organization through housekeeping duties, including sweeping and storing materials, tooling, and supplies. What's Needed? + Ability to perform visual inspections and quality checks accurately. + Willingness to perform physical tasks such as grinding and lifting. + Basic understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
