FTE: 0.500 Standard Hours: 20.00 Shift: Shift 2 ShiftDetails: Monday, Thursday, every other Friday 1600-2100 Holidays: aspicked up Weekends: every other weekend 1200-2000 Job Summary: Providespatient centered care across all areas of Imaging Services. Clericalduties may include but are not limited to: reception, way finding,registration, insurance verification, documentation in EMR, utilizationof proper phone etiquette. Patient care duties may include but are notlimited to: detailed/clear communication by phone and in person toprepare patients for studies, monitoring inpatients and assisting themwith basic needs, monitoring patients, transporting patients to and fromthe imaging department and assisting technologists with performingimaging studies. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Oneyear experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Ability to concentrate and pay closeattention to detail when performing care, resolving patient careproblems and dealing with patients and families. Ability to use generalmedical support equipment, including patient lifting devices; understandand follow instructions, as well as give clear directions to patientsand others in need of assistance and guidance; good listening skills.Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, fax, copy,document scanners, and tube stations. Knowledge of basic medicalterminology and human anatomy. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American HeartAssociation (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS)or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
