Includestaking call about every 7 weeks and 1-2 holidays worked/year. Thisposition is eligible for a $5K Sign-On Bonus Job Summary: At thedirection of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients,performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performsdiagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribedprotocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports theorganizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effectiveinteraction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas asnecessary. Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalitiesand meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry,CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One year of current clinical experience in eachmodality is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Post high schoolcompletion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired. An additional 1-2 years of college/university courseworkand/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field ispreferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered and current State ofWisconsin license as a Radiographer is required. Registered by the ARRTin CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire/transfer isrequired. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for theHealthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is requiredwithin 90 days of hire.
