The Froedtert FamilyMedicine practice is very collegial, collaborative, and consultativewith exceptional support staff. The Froedtert & the Medical College ofWisconsin regional health network is a partnership between FroedtertHealth and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared missionof patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. For Nurse Practitioners: Aminimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred. A master'sdegree in nursing is required. Graduate of an accredited AdvancedPractice Nurse Practitioner program is required. Requires current stateof Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing Licensefrom a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by theWisconsin State Board of Nursing is required. Certification by theAmerican Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of NursePractitioners (AANP) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approvedequivalent is required upon hire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS)enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible toobtain. For Physician Assistant: Bachelor's degree in physicianassistant studies is required. Current State certification as a PA;current DEA. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for theHealthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required uponhire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration arerequired or must be eligible to obtain.
