Description Summary The main function of a customer service representative is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. A typical customer service representative is responsible for determining the clientu2019s billing issues, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service agents may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. Job Responsibilities u2022 Provide timely customer service to incoming telephone calls in an automated call delivery environment u2022 Assume ownership and respond to customer (internal/external) billing correspondence, complaints and inquiries in an efficient, accurate and professional manner to achieve an optimal outcome u2022 To ensure complete resolution of all customer inquiries; may need to coordinate end to end service with other business partners u2022 Effectively navigate multiple systems (will be trained on internal systems and applications) to research, analyze and resolve customer inquiries u2022 Work effectively in a team environment using professional interpersonal and communication skills u2022 Utilize basic understanding of product & process guidelines u2022 As business priorities change, support other teams and process transactions as needed u2022 Complete assignments and other duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications Skills u2022 Strong customer service skills including oral and written communication. u2022 Demonstrated leadership skills u2022 Must possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, u2022 Excellent Professional verbal and written communications skills u2022 Knowledge of MS Word (generating and editing documents using templates) and Excel (basic functions, however, high level knowledge is a plus). Education/Experience u2022 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment preferred u2022 Sales experience a plus u2022 Maintain performance standards within a fast-paced environment of customer service principles and practices u2022 Strong data entry skills are required Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O FALLON, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
