Commercial Service Technician u2013 Fire & Security Systems Location: Must reside within 1 hour of Parkville, MD Employment Type: Contract or Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician with strong fire systems experience to join a growing security services team. This technician will service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial fire and security systems across Maryland. This is a customeru2011facing role requiring professionalism, problemu2011solving skills, and the ability to work independently in fastu2011paced environments. Top Required Skills 1. Fire Systems Experience (Must-Have) Minimum 5 years in the commercial security industry with hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting fire equipment, including: + Fire alarm panels & systems + Fire inspections + Low-voltage cabling + Motion sensors, locks, smoke detectors, CO detectors + Hardwired & wireless CCTV systems + Access control systems 2. Strong Communication Skills Ability to effectively interact with: + Security leadership + End customers + Project managers + Technical support teams 3.
