Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving Specialist responsible for efficiently handling materials, ensuring safety compliance, and managing inventory within a warehouse environment. The role requires proficiency in operating forklifts and RF scanners, as well as maintaining organized and secure load management. Responsibilities + Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to transport goods, load/unload trucks, and move items to/from storage, production, and dock areas. + Perform daily equipment inspections, report issues, wear PPE, identify hazards, and adhere to all OSHA and company safety rules. + Use RF scanners or other systems to track inventory, pick and wrap orders, manage stock rotation (FIFO), and complete documentation. + Secure loads properly, ensure weight distribution is correct, and stack items in designated locations. + Keep the work area clean, tidy, and organized; report machinery needing repair. Essential Skills + Proficiency in operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up). + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Knowledge of logistics processes. + Ability to perform daily safety inspections and compliance checks. + Competence in inventory management using RF scanners or similar systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Understanding of FIFO stock rotation. + Attention to detail in load management and documentation. Why Work Here?
