Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. This role involves overseeing accounting processes, maintaining compliance, and driving efficiency in financial practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and a proven ability to manage teams effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and reconciled. u2022 Coordinate and prepare for financial statement audits, collaborating with auditors as needed. u2022 Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Review and approve journal entries to maintain compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and supporting their attention to detail and growth. u2022 Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. u2022 Monitor financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes. u2022 Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles. u2022 Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management. u2022 Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements. u2022 Proficiency in account reconciliations and journal entry reviews. u2022 Excellent leadership and team management skills. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams.
