Type: Contract/Temp Posted Date: 2026-02-17 Pay Range: 50.00 - 55.00 USD per hour Primary Function The Senior Video Editor u2013 Programs creates highu2010quality programs for broadcast. Selfu2010motivated, able to work under pressure, and adhere to tight deadlines. The Editor maintains comprehensive knowledge of leading professional video editing applications. Duties & Responsibilities Craft long-form, highly professional and polished video and audio content (including recording of voice over) to air in line with international industry standardsWork in close collaboration with program producers for long form programsLiaise with programs, archive, media management to ensure integrity of video and audio material throughout the production workflowQuality check each edited video and audio package for visual and audio errors and rectify, pay close attention to detail to avoid on-air errorsLiaise with program editorial department to ensure subtitling for programs is accurate, visually in line with editorial and creative standards and meets network standardsExchange video and audio files between audio and video production environmentsWork with network creative to ensure programs and promotional video and audio edits meet network creative standardsColor grade final video edits to international broadcasting standardsProvide clear reports to the Supervisor PostproductionPerform other duties as assigned across the client network Skills & Qualifications Willing to accept shift work in a 24/7 breaking news environmentFluent in English. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.Be deadline driven; inspire and encourage others to meet challenging deadlinesA high level of interpersonal skills.
