PositionOverview The SAP Senior Application Analyst will work on SAP systemsdesign and configuration, as well as upgrades and improvements for SAPtechnology platforms. As a primary support contact for SAP applicationend-users, the Senior SAP Application Analyst will work to identifyissues that arise in the areas of forecasting (IBP) application area aswell as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolvethem. The Senior Application Analyst will perform impact analysis ofdesired changes, build and test systems changes, and identify areas ofimprovement associated with opportunities to enable business processesand requirements in the forecasting and planning areas. The SeniorApplication Analyst will act as a mentor to junior analysts on the team,support questions, and may delegate activities to other analysts.Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for business systems design and configuration, and upgradesand improvements for low to medium complexity applications. Design andimplement solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that areimaginative, thorough, and practical. Responsible for independentdevelopment and configuration of an assigned application. Identifyissues that arise in the application area as well as issues that impactother application teams, and work to resolve them. Develop new processesand procedures to meet current challenges. Create and maintain systemdocumentation. Lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests.Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyzetechnical issues. Liaise with business systems stakeholders and softwarevendor's implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needswith the delivery of system changes. Develop an understanding ofoperational needs to set the direction for the organization'sworkflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve businessworkflow with technology improvements.
