During the Academic year this position is located atthe Sett Pub in Union South. During the Summer months this position willtransfer to the Memorial Union. At both locations this position supportsthe General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellentcustomer service, and supervising staff -all while maintaining highstandards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. This person in thisrole plays a key part in team performance, operational efficiency, andguest satisfaction. You'll work alongside other professionals andstudents, utilizing your skills and talent to lead a high-quality foodoperation for the UW Madison community. A successful candidate will haveprevious restaurant leadership experience and demonstrate excellentcommunication, organizational, and teambuilding skills. PhysicalDemands: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally needed;Ability to work outside in inclement weather needed. Work Schedule andLocation: This position is 100% on-site and is scheduled to work acombination of days, nights and weekends, with 2 days off in a row.Operational and work schedules will be closely aligned with the servicesand customer needs of our units.
