Sr. Structural Engineer

As a member of our team, you will actively be working with our network of structural engineers responsible for conventional design and design/build projects for water and wastewater clients. Youu2019ll be challenged with leading and designing facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems. This role will require you to lead the development of project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts.At Jacobs you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career through networking and internal mentorship programs. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of smart and 3D software tools. u2022 Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineeru2022 Professional Engineer, (P.E.) licenseu2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis and a Masters degree in structural engineering is a plusu2022 Extensive years experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systemsu2022 Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be consideredu2022 Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed aboveu2022 Experience working in a multi-discipline project teamsu2022 Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budgetu2022 Experience with structural design and analysis software (STAAD, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, MathCAD)u2022 Experience with office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (BlueBeam)Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
