Commercial Construction Estimator - Cleveland, OH - Job 25-01733Salary Range $120K - $140K Permanent Position with BenefitsCleveland area Construction Company is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience within the commercial construction industry. The Estimator is responsible for preparing budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects in various categories of work including both large ($30-100 M) and small (less than $10 M) projects.Essential Functionsu2022 Work with drawings, specifications, supplier quotations, engineering standards, and other information to provide material take-offs and compile detailed cost estimatesu2022 Critically analyze bid documents and understand risks/opportunities and articulate those to managementu2022 Develop full-scope estimates based on Bid-Build, Design-Build or CM/GC construction documentsu2022 Obtain, organize, and analyze multiple subcontractor quotes across varying trades by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors and negotiating price locally and nationallyu2022 Consult with project managers, vendors, and others to discuss and formulate estimates Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectationsMinimum Requirements:u2022 A degree in a construction-related field and 7+ years of recent experience estimating commercial construction projectsu2022 Solid understanding of the RFP Bid processu2022 Knowledge and efficiency in the following Software: Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD 3D, On Screen Takeoffu2022 Able to manage multiple projects concurrentlyu2022 Strong written, verbal, and analytical skillu2022 USGBC LEED accreditation preferredu2022 Existing vendor & subcontractor relationships a plusCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
