Job Description

The Imaging Equipment Services Management acts as an internal liaison between the Facilities & Services, and Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain and vendors. Provides support and information relating to equipment services, facilitates repairs and works with local site teams to ensure service levels are being achieved. Manages service contracts, vendor relationships, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and reduce cost. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: + Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Ensuring all imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET-CT, Nuclear Med, Ultrasound) are calibrated, serviced, and operating at peak performance. Provides support and information relating to new and used equipment availability and delivery, external equipment rental, inter-regional transfer, equipment disposal, and equipment support information. Manage equipment availability for interim opportunities. Works with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate equipment needs and deliveries. + Operational Management: Managing service contracts, vendor relationships, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Identify equipment with high R&M, helium usage, etc., and make recommendations to reduce operating cost vs replacement. Assist the VP of Facilities & Service with coordinating asset availability with sales needs including open dayu2019s availability and full asset utilization. Attends regional operational calls to determine potential future asset purges, open days and service issues related to scanners, chillers and facilities. Assists with escalating service issues with vendors and OEMs. Works with Regional VPs, Directors and site Managers to identify service deficiencies and needs. Communicates with OEM/vendors and field teams to expedite acute equipment related concerns. Work Order & PO Management: Quickley respond and mange to completion all work orders related to imaging equipment, chillers, and other facility service work as needed. Issue POu2019s and track all equipment, chiller, and systems cost. Manages all work orders, POu2019s, and equipment and chiller related cost. Analysis and strategically reduces cost. + Compliance & Safety: Adhering to FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and safety protocols for medical devices. Regulatory Compliance: Work with the compliance, quality and safety teams to assist with ensuring strict adherence to FDA (21 CFR), ACR (American College of Radiology), Joint Commission (JCAHO), and state regulations regarding radiation safety and equipment standards + Strategic Planning: Evaluating new technology, managing costs for equipment expenditures, and providing training for site staff on device usage. Workflow Optimization: Evaluating and enhancing departmental processes to increase productivity and reduce equipment downtime. + Budgeting & Financial Management: Managing operational budgets, including service contracts, parts inventory, and capital expenditures with a focus on costs.Works with internal and external stakeholders to reduce expenses while driving increased uptime and reliability. + Teamwork: Maintaining strong productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Technical Communication: Effectively explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and translating clinical needs into technical requirements. Meetings: Attend and lead meetings related to equipment in a professional manner. Collaboration: Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, doctors, and hospital administration. + Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience + Minimum of 5 years related experience. + Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business needs, assess resources, and determine viable solutions. + Demonstrated success/ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines and deliver high-quality results on time. + Attention to detail while understanding the big picture, strategy and purpose. + Customer-oriented approach with ability to find solutions to complex issues. + Demonstrated advanced understanding of Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables, external data ranges). + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Work order management experience + Analytical abilities and skills related to equipment management + Proven track record of reducing cost Preferred + Healthcare Imaging Experience + Field Service Experience Physical Requirements: Standard Office Environment More than 50% of the time: + Sit, stand, walk. + Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs. + See, speak and hear to be able to communicate. + Less than 50% of the time: + Stoop, kneel or crawl. + Climb and balance. + Carry and lift 10-20 lbs.
