General Description/Primary Purpose:The School of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor of Nursing. This position reports to the School of Nursing Director. Position responsibilities will include a 4/4 teaching load.The successful candidate will:1) Teach in areas of expertise (i.e. Psych Mental Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Community Health, Womens Health and Obstetrics, Research, Leadership)2) Supervise students in clinical areas3) Participate in School committees,4) Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise.Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 3, 2026.Working Hours: VariesSupervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.About the Department: The School of Nursing offers a wide variety of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our programs have a community-based, population-focused curriculum corresponding to changes in healthcare delivery trends.
