As a member of our team, you will perform a variety of advanced and highly specialized monitoring activities in air quality management and pollution control for Clark County. This role performs advanced level research and analysis, participates in complex studies and projects, and provides information regarding pollution control compliance methods and devices. The Senior Air Quality Monitoring Technician will provide lead direction and training to Air Quality staff. This position also promotes a positive image of Air Quality to the general public. This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in chemistry, physics, mathematics, electronics or a related field AND three (3) years of full-time experience comparable to that of an Air Quality Monitoring Technician.
