Thedesired candidate will hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree, and haveresearch interests broadly related to the biology of cancer. Oncologyfocus areas may include radiation biology, cell signaling, genetics, DNAdamage and repair, angiogenesis, cancer therapeutics, cellular andmolecular response to cancer therapy, stem cell biology, molecularprognostic markers, cell cycle control, stress response and others. Inaddition to research and teaching activities, this candidate will alsoparticipate in graduate student and postdoctoral training. Clinicalpractice opportunities also exist for candidates with interest and withthe appropriate background.
