Overview: Based in our San Jose office, you will develop and deliver training on industrial products (photolithography equipment). u00a0Not only will you prepare lesson plans, but also partner with customers and internal members to implement training as well as maintain equipment in the cleanrooms and training facilities to ensure equipment availability for training and demonstrations. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise with your course development and training skills.u00a0 This positionu00a0requires full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory. Responsibilities: + Conduct user training on Photolithography products both in-house and at customer sites + Provide classroom and laboratory training for internal and external customer training courses that includes but not limited to operation, preventive maintenance, application, and installation aspects of Canon photolithography equipment + Develop new internal and external technical materials + Revise existing internal and external technical materials to ensure technical materials are current and accurate + Verify accuracy of technical procedures to support field service technicians and customer needs + Provide detailed presentations on technical topics + Responsible for operation, and maintenance of the training facilities and training equipment and preparation of the instructional site in the San Jose facility + Participate in discussion groups as needed, to share technical information and u00a0improve technical knowledge of less experienced colleagues + Contact customers to discuss training needs and acquire feedback from customers on current training programs and systems Qualifications: + Requires a Bacheloru2019s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of related work experience + Semiconductor equipment, maintenance knowledge preferred, photolithography equipment knowledge helpful + Prior experience as a technical trainer preferred + May require up to 50% travel within the US (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary). Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies + Ability to work flexible shifts + Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must Have Instructor experience Bacheloru2019s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of related work experience. Field Service exp Semiconductor process related exp Semiconductor industry experience Experience - Hardware technical background (robot replacement), Hands on experience Additional Information Train customers and Eng. techs Clean room, fab environment or physics background Understand technology to explain the information Work on equipment for troubleshooting, engineering background with training Hand tools, mechanical/electrical, Classroom setting, clean room for training. Mostly in person training, some virtual 70% training/30% course development 30% travel u2013 80% of it is domestic (1 week or more per month). u00a0Domestic or intl trips 1-2 weeks long. Intl only 1-2 x year u00a0 Physical Demands & Work Environment The worker is required to have close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
