Sr. Display Engineer

DescriptionAs a Senior Display engineer you will design, characterize, and validate the optical and electrical performance of OLED displays by working with cross-functional teams and external vendors. You will work on defining performance specifications, managing supplier relationships, designing test protocols, analyzing results, and troubleshooting issues throughout the product development lifecycle. Essential skills include expertise in OLED device physics, optoelectronics, materials, and strong project management abilities. Key job responsibilities Design and define the electro-optical architecture and performance specifications for OLED displays. Design and execute test plans to characterize and validate display performance, analyze results, and identify root causes for any issues. Investigate and resolve complex process issues using techniques like failure analysis and design of experiments (DOE). Use and expand on optoelectronic models and simulation tools and contribute to the development and refinement of manufacturing processes. Willingness and ability to travel internationally (10 ~ 15% of time). A day in the life The Senior Display Engineer will work closely with a team of optical, mechanical, electrical and software engineers engaged in the design of innovative consumer products. Along the way, you will learn a lot, have fun and make a positive impact on millions of people.Basic Qualifications- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Bachelor's degree in display engineering, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields with +5 years of relevant industry experience. - Expertise in OLED device physics, optoelectronics, materials, or process. - 5+ years of experience and proven track record in development of devices with OLED display : materials, processes, manufacturing, simulation, equipment, and methodologyPreferred Qualifications- Master or PhD in display engineering, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields with +5 years of relevant industry experience. - Technical knowledge in OLED Evaporation, Encapsulation, color filter process/material, and Cell process/material. - Familiarity with display simulation tools and measurement equipment. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar. - Proven track record in product development from ideation to commercialization in the display industry. - Expertise in the electrical and optical design and validation of optoelectronic devices with a particular focus on organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental design skills are essential.
