Job Summary Your CareerPalo Alto Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Quote to Cash Accounting Transformation Lead to join our finance, accounting and operations organization.Our finance, accounting and operations groups deal with everything touching the CFO organization, covering the numbers, supporting infrastructure, automation, building solutions and providing accurate, insightful financial information to empower our business lines. Your efforts will directly impact the overall transformation and success of a world-leading cybersecurity business.Youu2019ll collaborate on complex business, financial and technology problems and initiatives that are top-of-mind for our executives. You possess a unique blend of business insight, big-picture thinking, deep understanding of the end-to-end quote-to-cash process and related systems coupled with a strategic transformation mindset.This is a highly visible role with extensive cross-functional interaction. As a thought-partner and strategic leader, itu2019s also critical that you possess exceptional leadership and communication skills and the confidence, resourcefulness and adaptability to manage stakeholders to advance good, practical strategic decision-making and achieve our desired business outcomes.The role will report to the VP of Revenue Operations, and partner closely with IT leaders, the Head of CFO Program Ops and other global process leaders within the finance, accounting, sales and product organizations.Your ImpactApply deep understanding of quote-to-to-cash process to assess current revenue related processes including systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.Develop and recommend process enhancements that align with business goals and optimal future state business processes.Re-design and optimize processes and systems to improve efficiency and increase automation, leveraging system functionalities.Lead the planning, execution and successful implementation of transformation initiatives ensuring cross functional alignment and various steak holders buy in.Collaborate with other relevant departments within the company - technical skills and/or experience working in product space required.Drive process standardization and harmonization across the quote-to-cash domain:Absorb a significant amount of technical information from a variety of inputs to shape and convey product, policy and process requirements.Lead continuous process improvement and development of automated systems including enhancements to quote-to-cash processes.Develop rapport, credibility and strong relationships across the organization:Promote ideas and proposals persuasively to build support for company-level decisions.Collaborate with executives and key stakeholders to understand business municate recommendations and risks to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with overall business goals.Provide visionary leadership:Mentor and develop team members, cultivating a high-performance environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.Lead teams to address the most critical strategic questions facing Palo Alto Networks, via a combination of structured problem-solving, research and analytics and a deep understanding of the technology sector and Palo Alto Networks context. Qualifications Your ExperienceAccounting / Finance degree (or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience) required, MBA and CPA or equivalent preferred15+ years of relevant experience within tech, with a combination of experience at a global accounting / consulting practice and industry experience at a top-tier tech companyDeep understanding of revenue operations and accounting (including sound knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls) for an enterprise business for various business models including hardware, marketplace and subscriptionUnderstanding of process and systems including Primary Data Management, Lead Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, Deal Desk, Configure-Price-Quote, Order booking, Invoicing, Collections, Return logistics, Revenue recognition & reportingStrong expertise in SAP (preferably RAR, BRIM / SD and S/4 HANA), SFDC (preferably CRM and CPQ) and HighRadiusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHands-on and results oriented leader with problem solving and action oriented mindsetIntellectual curiosity, self-starter and critical thinkerAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to deal with ambiguity, deal with changing priorities and drive accountabilityPassion for continuous optimization of systems and processes Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
