Purchasing, Scheduling & Shipping Coordinator

About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive Purchasing, Scheduling & Shipping Coordinator to support our operations team. This role is responsible for managing procurement activities, production scheduling, and outbound shipments to ensure materials and products flow efficiently through the company. Key Responsibilities Purchasing Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for materials, supplies, and equipment Create and manage purchase orders Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed Maintain accurate records of vendor pricing, lead times, and order status Optimize materials for take-offs. Scheduling Create and update production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability Communicate schedule changes with production and management Track progress to ensure deadlines are met Identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays Shipping Prepare and schedule outbound shipments Coordinate with carriers and freight partners Ensure accurate documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels) Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing, production scheduling, logistics, or a related field Strong organizational and time‑management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Experience with ERP or inventory systems (preferred) Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing or distribution Knowledge of supply chain best practices Ability to read purchase specifications or basic technical drawings
