Fall Engineering or Metallurgy Co-op, TIMET Toronto, OH(Paid, with housing stipend)We have opportunities across multiple Engineering functions: Maintenance, Quality, Project Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering/Continuous Improvement.A minimum of a 3-month assignment.Engineering Co-Op SummaryPartner with engineering teams to assist in projects, outages and mechanical breakdowns.Essential FunctionsAssist in developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance or continuous improvement programs in order to support the improvement of equipment availability and throughput.Provide support for equipment failures and loss of production.Assist in analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.Provides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.Assist with Project Engineering duties.Performs other related duties as assigned.Additional ResponsibilitiesWork with engineer(s) to prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.Work with maintenance craftsmen and operations to meet department goals.QualificationsCompetenciesBasic knowledge of terpersonal skillsComputer skillsEducation and ExperienceEnrolled and completed 2+ years accredited university in Engineering or similar discipline.Special SkillsThe ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.Excellent interpersonal and communication mitment to company values.Change anizational puter proficiency in Windows environment and software tools that support job responsibilities.Additional NotesTIMET is equal opportunity employer.
