Full-Time RN - Wound Care Clinic We’re looking for a motivated, experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing wound care team. This is a full-time outpatient role for a nurse who is confident in their clinical skills, takes initiative, and values both independence and teamwork. What we’re looking for: RN with at least 1 year of hands-on wound care experience (required) Wound Care Certification strongly preferred Outpatient experience a plus Comfortable making clinical decisions and working independently Team-oriented with strong communication skills Efficient, organized, and proactive in patient care If you’re a nurse who enjoys autonomy, collaboration, and providing specialized wound care in an outpatient setting, we’d love to hear from you. We provide cardiopulmonary care, ventilator and respiratory care, complex wound care, rehabilitation therapies, addiction medicine program, geriatric psychiatry program, multidisciplinary pain program, and outpatient counseling program. With two locations, Shreveport Campus and Bossier City Campus, we are the largest provider of LTAC services in Northwest Louisiana. Working at a LTAC facility like Intensive Specialty Hospital is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to encounter a variety of patients and develop exceptional skills to be a part of our committed TEAM. The Registered Nurse (RN) performs those activities for which the RN has been prepared through education and training. The RN provides nursing supervision in the planning for and provision of nursing care to patients and directs and evaluates care given by other licensed nurses and personnel. The RN provides education, assesses needs, plans for, implements, evaluates, and documents care being provided by nursing staff to each patient. The RN is responsible both for nursing care directly provided by that nurse and the care provided by others under her/his supervision.
