This internship will run for 8-10 weeks between June and August 2026 and weekly schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday-Thursday.The Account Executive Intern supports the company’s core business and assists account management teams by executing day to day tasks for the successful movement and completion of client projects. The work consists of publications and medical communication projects (including digital and print materials) that support the dissemination of pharmaceutical and biotechnology data. The Account Coordinator Intern will have the opportunity to take part in internal/agency-only meetings and attend select client engagements when appropriate.Proactively assist with the movement and tracking of assigned projects in an accurate and efficient mannerUpdate internal status reports on a routine basis by independently assimilating details from the information flow on a project(s) or account (s)Update client status reports or elements of client status reports, as required by independently assimilating details from information flow on a project(s) or account(s)Draft and distribute weekly action lists based on understanding of project statusDraft and update timelines based on understanding of optimal project stepsSave appropriate project related communication to the shared driveWorks within agency specified program with efficiency and accuracyAccurately assist with the financial management associated with assigned account(s)Obtain project hours and coordinate budget development as directed Assistance with financial spreadsheet maintenanceWork within client specified programs, and understand the compliance-related requirements for client standard operating proceduresCommunicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external parties in a fashion consistent with Lumanity’s client service standardsAs appropriate, communicate proactively and clearly with client or other external parties (e.g. faculty, authors, etc) as directed by account senior Work within the client chosen publication technology program; maintain project status, bibliography and other client assigned tasksIs aware of the principles of good publication practice, and identify the need for guidance in certain situations Develop and own an overarching master project from concept to delivery, with two presentations to a leadership commiteeOther duties as assigned Must be a rising senior or graduate at an accredited college or university.A strong career interest in healthcare communications, advertising, life sciences, and/medicineMust have relevant classes, experience, and/or internship experienceShould be highly organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with total accuracy and attention to detailShould be able to meet deadlines and juggle multiple prioritiesMust thrive in an environment of rapid changeMust be able to commit to a 8-10 week schedule (running from Jun to Aug working Monday-Thursday/32 hours per weekMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMaintain a professional attitude internally and with clients, even in challenging situationsMaintains client confidentiality at all timesAbility to evaluate, interpret and analyze both written and verbal communicationsFlexible, deadline oriented, and ability to work as part of a multifunctional teamAbility to quickly and amicably respond to changing client needs and conditionsAbility to evaluate, interpret and analyze both written and verbal communicationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
