Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our growing team! The Financial Reporting Manager will report to and work closely with the Corporate Controller, Accounting Manager and others in the organization to complete month end closing procedures including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures.The ideal candidate possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Compensation: Competitive Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations and reconciliations.Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures, including the research, coordination, and implementation of FASB ASUs and proposals, as well as SEC rules. Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related footnotes for audit.Support external audit processes and statutory reportingAssist and participate in the monthly, quarterly and year end closing processes including certain schedules and processes for monthly and quarterly financial reporting packageSupport monthly accounting process, including preparation of journal entries related to technical accounting transactions.Assist in complex, non-routine accounting and reporting transactions, including, but not limited to, mergers and acquisitions, impairment analyses of goodwill and long-lived assets. Ad hoc reporting and other responsibilities as assignedBachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance preferred3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting (or a combination of public accounting and private industry experience).Strong foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements, including the ability to research and apply technical guidance.Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Extensive experience and ability to utilize excel including xlookup, sumifs and pivot tablesExcellent problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail.Strong teamwork, collaboration, flexibility and proactiveness.Ability to evaluate and prioritize workload while meeting tight deadlinesINDHB
