Most importantly, we’re proud of our diverse team of individuals who embody our core values—family, curiosity, passion, candor, and responsibility—and bring them to life every day.We are currently looking to hire a Night Shift Mechanic to work full time, Monday to Friday, 5pm-1:30am.The Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, and manufacturer specifications. This role involves working with motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, spindle drives, and other equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. The hourly pay range for this role is $25.00 to $32.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.Observe machinery in operation to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine root causes.Disassemble equipment to access, repair, or replace defective mechanical and electro‑mechanical components using hand and power tools.Inspect parts and materials for wear, defects, and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Adjust and align mechanical systems and control instruments using measuring and diagnostic tools including multimeters, RPM gauges, levels, and straightedges.Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control system issues using schematics, wire lists, and I/O documentation.Set up and operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders to fabricate or repair parts.Perform preventive maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, and replacing components in accordance with maintenance schedules.Test and power up equipment after repairs to verify proper operation and performance to specifications.Support shop organization by maintaining cleanliness, managing parts inventory, and properly recycling or disposing of materials.3-5 years’ experience in a production environment required.Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical systems.Proficiency with hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and electrical testing equipment.Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.Ability to accurately read micrometers to .0001 (ten‑thousandths) and rulers to 1/8 inch and decimal equivalents.Ability to identify parts and components used in manufacturing equipment.Knowledge of PLC control systems and digital electronic equipment.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus#LI-Onsite
