Carlson’s market focus includes Mission Critical, Light Industrial, and Commercial sectors.Location: Atlanta, GA, and includes some travel Your key responsibilities include:Lead development of design solutions on projects of limited complexityPrepare structural analyses and perform engineering calculationsSupport the Structural Team Lead on sophisticated projectsPrepare schematic designs, Construction Documents, and specificationsEnsure completeness and accuracy of Construction DocumentsCoordinate with other disciplinesReview shop drawings and submittalsConduct field inspections and condition assessmentsPrepare technical reportsTo qualify for the role, you must have:BSCE in Structural Engineering from an accredited institutionMinimum of 5 years of experienceLicensed Professional Engineer (PE)Proficiency in structural analysis software (RAM structural suite, preferred), AutoCAD, and RevitStrong attention to detailStrong collaboration and communication skillsCompetency in Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamUnderstanding of model codesCarlson Design Group is an equal opportunity employer.
