NaphCareis hiring an experiencedDental Directorto support our patients residing in with the Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) facilities at the Arizona State Prison Complex - Perryville located in Goodyear, Arizona.As theDental Director, you will oversee clinical operations, quality of care, and staff performance at various facility sites of the Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR).Responsibilities:The Dental Director is responsible for overseeing the dental program and ensuring quality dental care is provided to protect the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Responsibilities may include and not be limited to:Developing and implementing dental services policies, procedures and protocolsPerforming direct dental care services for the patients in residence Ensuring compliance with State and Federal mandates and regulations, including court mandates and standardsDirects daily dental operations, manages clinic workflows, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, FQHC guidelines).Collaborating on with other medical professionals to ensure staff are responsive to patients’ needsTraining, supervising, and evaluating dental staffOverseeing dental program budgetQualifications/Experience/Requirements:Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent3 - 5 years’ experience in general practice residency with administrative experience is required with corrections experience preferredValid dental license in the state where the facility is locatedCurrent DEA registrationMust possess an active BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred)Able to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationAbility to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issuesDisplay integrity, professionalism and be able to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirementsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsTechnical skills in providing a full range of dental servicesKnowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standardsAble to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential informationMust pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screeningWhy Join NaphCare?NaphCare is one of the largest providers of healthcare services to correctional facilities throughout the US and we are growing.
