Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Fremont, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable operations and demonstrate proficiency in handling financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Process invoices and ensure proper coding for timely and accurate payments. u2022 Manage accounts payable functions, including ACH transactions and check runs. u2022 Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation. u2022 Maintain organized records of transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues. u2022 Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial data effectively. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role. u2022 Proficiency in account coding and invoice processing. u2022 Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs. u2022 Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
