FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 4 Shift Details:Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Intern I: Students enrolled in thefirst year of an RT program are encouraged to apply for positions thatbegin March/April 2026. To be considered, applications must be receivedno later than February 2026. Flexible scheduling available to supportyour academic success. Performs basic duties to support the RespiratoryCare Staff in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies andprocedures. The individual will have a mentor identified for resourceand support. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:Experience working in a patient care setting (hospital, nursing home) ispreferred. Inventory/stocking experience is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory TherapyEducation Program is required. Student will remain in good standing.High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION:Equipment processing and cleaning training. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:Organization/Time management. Good communication skills. LICENSUREDESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for theHealthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is requiredwithin 90 days of hire.
