FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The Director of ITNetwork & Telecommunications plays a critical role in overseeing thestrategic and operational management of the organization's network andtelecommunications infrastructure. This position is responsible forleading both the network and telecom teams, which includes managingnetwork infrastructure (Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, wireless,etc.), telecommunications systems (Cisco Call Manager, UCCE, Vocera,paging), and ensuring that all systems are designed, implemented, andmaintained to meet the demands of a healthcare environment. The directorensures seamless integration of network and telecom solutions,particularly during mergers and acquisitions, and optimizes cloudservices to support the organization's long-term goals. This roleemphasizes high availability, security, integration of communicationstechnologies with clinical workflows to enhance patient care, andoperational efficiency. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 10 years or moreexperience in the in the network and telecom field working with Ciscoenterprise technology including five (5) or more years of seniormanager/director level experience is required. Experience leading teamsthrough mergers and acquisitions, including the integration of networkand telecommunications systems with minimal operational disruption isrequired. Experience working with cloud strategies and hybrid cloudmodels, especially in the context of integrating network and telecomservices is required. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Experience with healthcarecompliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST) and experience ensuring networkand telecom systems meet these standards is preferred. Experiencemanaging Cisco network technologies and Cisco Call Manager, UCCE, nursecall system and related telecom systems in a healthcare environment ispreferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer orInformation Science or ten years relevant business and technicalexperience is required. Master's Degree is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Strong leadership skills managing cross-functional teamsand fostering collaboration between network and telecom groups.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complextechnical information for non-technical stakeholders and executiveleadership. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities,especially in high-pressure, mission-critical environments. Experiencewith disaster recovery planning, high availability design, and ensuringbusiness continuity for both network and telecom services. Ability tomanage multiple large-scale projects, budgets, and vendor relationships,ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
