Job Title: Welder Job Description The candidate will be responsible for material handling and cutting orders to size for customers using various saws, machines, and presses. Proficiency in reading a tape measure and other measuring devices to an 8th, 16th, or 32nd of an inch is required. Responsibilities + Handle materials and cut them to customer-specified sizes using various saws, machines, and presses. + Read and interpret measurements accurately to an 8th, 16th, or 32nd of an inch. Essential Skills + 6+ months of experience with machine operating, including drill press, punch press, and brake press. + Ability to read a tape measure with precision. + Capacity to stand on feet for the entire shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in production, general labor, assembly, general production, packaging, packing, cleanroom, machine operation, inspection, hand tools, and load handling. + Strong communication skills and the ability to ask questions. Work Environment This position is based in a small manufacturing facility in Zumbrota, MN. The candidate will work in a close-knit team of 3-4 people in the cut operations department. Steel-toed boots and jeans are required attire every day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zumbrota, MN.
