Water Technician

Water Technician Location: Salem, OR Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Schedule may change depending on needs) Pay: $20 per hour About the Role Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for helping people? Join our team as a Water Technician and play a vital role in restoring homes and businesses impacted by water damage. This is a fast-paced, physically active job where your work makes a real difference. Key Responsibilities Respond to water damage emergencies and perform mitigation services Operate equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and negative air machines Set up containment zones and manage moisture control Assist with water extraction, demolition, and cleanup Complete job documentation, including photos, notes, and inspections Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on every job site Drive to job locations and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and reliable Requirements & Must Haves High school diploma or equivalent Valid Oregon Driver’s License with clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in demanding conditions Willingness to work in confined spaces, varying temperatures, and wear PPE as required Participation in an on-call rotation once trained IICRC certifications a plus, but not required Must demonstrate empathy and respect while working in homes during sensitive family situations.
