Job Title: SurveyorJob Description We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. The role involves drafting topographical surveys, property boundaries, and construction layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The Surveyor will also be responsible for downloading and uploading survey data into AutoCAD, researching land records, and coordinating with engineers and project teams. Responsibilities + Draft topographical surveys, property boundaries, and construction layouts in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. + Download and upload survey data into AutoCAD. + Research land records to ensure accurate surveying. + Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure project requirements are met. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in land surveying or CADD drafting. + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Experience in drafting topographical surveys, property boundaries, and construction layouts. + Proficiency in Civil 3D. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in survey drafting. Work Environment The work environment consists of a small team of eight people. The Surveyor will spend most of their time in the field, with some office work on the computer. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed. The role involves working alongside a survey manager on various job sites, which may be located throughout Connecticut and occasionally in New York. Job sites can vary from construction sites to woodland areas, requiring physical activity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelton, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
